Kevin Churco, eCommerce Analyst, of Calypso St. Barth, wanted a way to translate the in-store experience onto its eCommerce site in order to boost the conversion rate on its product pages.
Calypso St. Barth’s 49 luxury boutiques in the U.S. and Caribbean are meticulously curated. They display resort wear-inspired merchandise from their own brand as well as pieces from international designers and handpicked treasures from around the globe. The boutiques provide the highest standard of customer service and build a loyal customer base and brand advocates. Calypso St. Barth was looking for additional ways to give their online customers that in-store experience.
It found its solution in Listrak's Recommender. Listrak suggested adding personalized product recommendations on Calypso St. Barth's product and 404 pages, mimicking both the careful curation and customer service of the boutiques.
These personal recommendations have elevated our site. Customers are buying more. The recommended products have a great conversion rate and have increased both the number of items ordered as well as the AOV. Customers are also spending more time on our site and are exploring more merchandise.
