Ken Chertow’s Gold Medal WresTling Camp and Wear and Gear Strengthens Email Marketing Campaigns with Listrak

Ken Chertow is an Olympian in the true sense of the word. He was a USA Olympian in 1988, and a three time NCAA All American as well as an Academic All-American at Penn State University. Ken achieved tremendous success, not only as a competitor, but also as a coach on the collegiate level as he led his alma mater to the National Dual Meet Championship in 1992. He also coached Ohio State to multiple top 5 finishes at the NCAA tournament.
While coaching, Ken found a way to reach even more students so he could share his love of education, his desire to teach, and his passion for wrestling by starting his Gold Medal Training Camp in 1989. In 1994, he left college coaching to focus his time and energy on helping young people through his local wrestling school and to further develop his training camps. Today, he has 23 Gold Medal Training Camps in 19 states nationwide and he offers programs for every level, including camps for beginners, women, and teams. He also offers training that fits into any schedule, including day, weekend, week, winter break, and summer camps. He even offers a home training option.
Ken Chertow’s dedication does not stop with the camps. He has also written books, developed videos, and has built two websites to share his knowledge of wrestling with the world. His websites offer wrestlers, parents, and coaches everything they need, including wrestling gear, tips on motivation, nutrition, and training, information on tournaments, and, of course, a way to sign up for his newsletters and training camps.
With over 83,000 members signed up to receive the newsletters, and over 3,000 campers last summer, Chertow Camps needed help reaching its target audience in an organized, consistent manner. Listrak offered them a perfect solution.
