The first time it offered a crab cake special, it tripled the amount of crab cake dinners it sold in a week, and when it offered a special on steaks, sales nearly quadrupled. This allowed The Brickery to leverage better deals from its vendors as it needed to place bigger orders and, even with the discounts, The Brickery maintained a larger profit margin.
