I went to Listrak's Email Marketing Days conference in Philadelphia back in September of '08 and I remember authentication coming up in just about every seminar I attended. I kept hearing that we had to make sure that DKIM, SPF, and Sender ID were working, even though at the time I wasn't sure what all of it meant. But Listrak and the other speakers went through it at the conference and gave me enough information to get started on the process.

In fact, I actually logged into my account from a terminal at the conference and created a test message only to see DKIM, SPF, and Sender ID failing. It was something I wanted to tackle right away when I got back to Boston. I knew I had to talk to the hosting facility of the BSO website and also to Listrak.

I had no idea really what to tell the hosting company, but Listrak guided me through the entire process quickly.

We were fully authenticated in about 3 or 4 days. Listrak's communication in this process was very professional. I got answers quickly that I needed to provide to the host of the website, and I got them in language I could understand. This made working with our hosting company painless.

Since that time I've noticed our spam rate has gone down quite a bit, which in turn bumped up our read and click-through rate. I've had email getting through to Comcast, which wasn't happening before authentication.

I think the best end-result is that we feel comfortable with Listrak's account management and technical support and can look forward to working with them on future projects.
