Many marketers overlook the importance of their email Subject Line. The Subject Line in your email campaign determines whether your client opens your email, deletes it, or even mistakenly reports it as spam.

In addition to including the name of your company within a short, concise subject line, Listrak recommends personalizing your subject line to grab clients’ attention amid a myriad of other messages from their bosses, co-workers, friends, family members, and other organizations.

Listrak Pro and Enterprise versions give you the flexibility to personalize your email campaigns. When you personalize the Subject Line with the recipient’s name, you measurably increase open rate. In Listrak Pro and Enterprise, there is built-in capability to personalize your To Name field, Subject Line, Message, or all three fields.

You can personalize the Subject Line with the contact’s first name so emails are individualized to each recipient. Just copy the profiling field for the recipient’s first name and paste it into the Subject Line field, followed with a comma and then the subject. The code will be replaced with that contact’s stored data when the message is sent.
