The Listrak Training Refresher is an optional session offered to attendees participating in the Listrak Certification course. Linda will walk through the basics of importing lists, building campaigns, and reviewing results. This session is perfect for new users that do not have a lot of experience using Listrak’s solution, users that only send monthly or quarterly emails, as well as users that just need to brush up on the basics.

List Management and Suppression

How organized are your lists? Listrak’s Certification course begins with a session on List Management and Suppression. Participants will gain expertise on the most effective ways to manage their contacts to ensure they remain Can-Spam compliant. Linda will cover how to create and populate lists and how to organize them into folders. Then, participants will learn how to control the subscribe and unsubscribe process using Listrak’s import wizard, code support, and suppression systems. Linda will also discuss the benefits of using one universal list with profiling attributes instead of importing smaller lists for each type of email communication. This overview leads right into the next session on Profiling and Segmentation.

Profiling and Segmentation

Are your emails reaching the right people with the right message at the right time? Linda continues the Listrak Certification training with a session on profiling and segmenting lists to increase the relevancy and response of each email message. Participants will learn how to create and populate customer profiles within Listrak, both manually and dynamically. They will then learn how to use this data to maximize the effectiveness of their email campaigns by creating and sending highly personalized and targeted email campaigns to the appropriate demographic groups. Attendees will gain the necessary skills needed to improve campaign performance while increasing subscriber satisfaction.

Content Management & WYSIWYG

Do you want to send knock-out HTML-based emails but don’t know how to program HTML? In the final Listrak Certification training session of the day, Linda will teach participants how to use Listrak’s built-in HTML editor to manage content and create eye-catching messages without needing HTML programming skills. This session covers best practices on creative design, how to use Listrak’s Media and Content Libraries to create, store, and reuse images and text as needed, and how to create templates that may be shared across multiple lists and users to ensure design consistency. Participants will also learn the benefits of including text-only versions of messages and how this may easily be accomplished within Listrak’s application in one simple step.

Dynamic Content Campaigns

Do you need to boost campaign performance? Ross and Brent, Listrak’s relevancy experts, build upon the previous two Listrak Certification sessions to teach participants how to create highly targeted dynamic content campaigns in Listrak based on preferences and profiling data saved on each subscriber. Participants will be lead step by step through the dynamic content process of an actual email campaign – including capturing the right information during the acquisition phase, profiling and segmenting lists, developing content blocks, creating the emails, and tracking the right metrics and clickstream data for increased profiling capabilities.

Participants will gain the ability to capture additional market share as this powerful tool can be used to maximize the relevancy of messages resulting in increased response rates.

Reporting, Analytics, & Performance Testing

You’ve deployed your message – now what? Brent and Linda continue the Listrak Certification training with an in-depth look at Listrak’s reporting tools – including Google Analytics, heat maps and overlays, graphs, message reports, contact reports, abuse reports, etc. Participants will get an even closer look at Listrak’s Dynamic Profiling feature and will learn how to mine a wealth of usable data and how to interpret the information so they may tweak their campaigns for peak performance. This session will also cover the methods Listrak uses to calculate reporting data and metrics and what this means to users as they evaluate the effectiveness of their email campaigns.

Brent and Linda will then show participants how they can use the data for advanced testing techniques beyond testing subject lines and calls-to-action. Participants will learn how to build test groups, when to perform tests, what factors impact results, and how to measure performance of each test campaign. This session offers new and original ways to test campaigns along with best practices so participants will reach their peak campaign performance with each and every email send.

Configuring Listrak for Maximum
Deliverability & Operability

What else impacts campaign performance? The final Listrak Certification training session is dedicated to helping participants understand what the various items are in Listrak’s List and Account Settings, how they are used, and why certain settings can make or break an email campaign. Joe and Brent will spend time discussing in detail branding settings and how they directly affect the deliverability of messages. They will also cover items such as RSS Feeds, Internationalization, List-Unsubscribe header information, Domain Alias, Bounce Domain, and other features of Listrak’s settings. Listrak saved this session for last so participants will walk away with an even greater understanding of the Listrak solution and how they can use it to reach all of their email marketing goals.

Certification Review & Test

Participants in Listrak’s Certification training put their expertise to the test in order to gain certification. There will be a short review of the material followed by an exam that covers all of the information learned in the Certification course over the two day period.
